Tingus Pingus was bred in Kentucky by Natalma Bloodstock. He is out of the Frosted mare, Queen of Arendell, she a three-quarter sister to G3 winner Mufajaah and G3-placed Scratch It, while also a half to Stakes-placed Aunt Kat.
In addition to Tingus Pingus, Maxfield's other first-crop winners include his most recent TDN Rising Star, Englishman, who scored impressively on debut at Churchill, breaking his maiden by seven and one-quarter lengths while registering a 97 Beyer Speed Rating. He's also the sire of Max Ciao, winner of the I’m Smokin Stakes at Del Mar; Saratoga debut winner and TDN Rising Star Five Bars, who finished third in her most recent start, the G1 Frizette; Saratoga debut MSW winners Boomington and Rock It Rob; other TDN Rising Star Magna Victor; Lilies N Paradise, debut winner at Churchill Downs (and now Stakes-placed at Delaware Park) and Just Asap, a seven-length debut winner at Ellis Park (and now Stakes-placed at Monmouth Park).
