The secret's out!

Discreet Cat juvenile Secret Kitten stays perfect in Cassidy Stakes

Secret Kitten's young talent is anything but quiet, as the two-year-old filly notched her second Stakes victory in the Cassidy Stakes at Calder September 28. The filly was coming off a five-length win in the Catcharisingstar Stakes August 24 and now boasts a perfect three-for-three record.

As the 3-5 favorite, the Discreet Cat filly settled into position in third along the backstretch of the six-furlong race. Entering the far turn she took on leaders, and absolutely coasted in the stretch to prove a clear winner.

Secret Kitten is out of the mare Mossy Bank, who is a half-sister to G2 National Museum Of Racing Hall Of Fame Stakes winner Turnofthecentury and G3 winner/G1-placed Best Friend Stro. She is a homebred for Gilbert G. Campbell.

Discreet Cat is currently North America's leading third-crop sire by progeny Stakes wins. His three-year-old daughter Discreet Marq was an impressive winner of the G1 Del Mar Oaks in August. The sire has also been represented by juvenile Graded Stakes winner Debt Ceiling, multiple G3 winner Sage Valley, and his talented G2-winning and G1-placed son Discreet Dancer.
