Flip The Switch turns it on at Charles Town

13th winner for freshman Discreet Cat

Discreet Cat two-year-old Flip The Switch certainly turned it on November 13 in a Maiden Special Weight at Charles Town. The filly became the 13th winner for her freshman sire, scoring in just her second start. In the four and one-half furlong race Flip The Switch dueled on the inside at the start. She kicked into gear in the stretch and drove clear towards the end of the race to secure the victory.

Flip The Switch was bred by Sequel Thoroughbreds, LLC, JMJ Racing Stables, LLC, and A R Properties. She is out of Nurse Cleo, by Rahy, who is a half-sister to Graded Stakes-placed runner Hollywood Badcat. Her second dam is the Stakes-placed mare Bald Cat, a half-sister to G1 winner Hollywood Wildcat.

Discreet Cat is the sire of 13 winners from his first crop of runners. Among them is unbeaten repeat winner Kinnikonick and impressive winners Jediscreto, Lucky Dan, and Medieval Cat. A World Champion, Discreet Cat’s victories include the G1 Cigar Mile.
