Air Khalifa newest Stakes winner for Discreet Cat

Four-year-old wins Oasis Stakes at Tokyo

Air Khalifa, a son of Discreet Cat, clinched his first Stakes win April 28 in the Oasis Stakes at Tokyo. It was the second win in a row for the colt, and with the victory in the one mile race, Air Khalifa's earnings now surpass $1.2 million. A consistent runner, the colt has finished in the top three in each of his twelve starts.

Bred by Winchester Farm, four-year-old Air Khalifa is out of Chez La Femme, by Afternoon Deelites. The mare is out of Stakes winner She's Ecstatic and is a half-sister to multiple Stakes winners Highwayman and Dead Heat.

2013 has been headlined by G2 Gulfstream Park Handicap winner and G1-placed Discreet Dancer for Discreet Cat. The sire's other Graded Stakes winners include G2 Fantasy Stakes winner Mamma Kimba and G3 Sham Stakes winner Out Of Bounds. At auction, his 2013 two-year-olds have sold for up to $425,000 and $410,000.

Discreet Cat is currently standing at Darley America for $12,500 stands and nurses.
