Bred in Iowa by owner Warren Bush, Minecraft Maniac is out of the Officer mare Our Sweet Mary B, a half-sister to G3 winner and G1 placed Wild Snitch. Minecraft Maniac's half-brother, Hot Shot Kid, is a multiple Black Type winner and also a home-bred for Warren Bush.
