You Look Cold ices the competition at Presque Isle

Frosted juvenile clearly the best in the Finest City Stakes

Although bumped at the start in the Finest City Stakes on September 14th, Frosted's two-year-old daughter You Look Cold recovered nicely for her second career win in three starts at Presque Isle in Pennsylvania.

Following the rough beginning, You Look Cold was able to track behind the leader in second through the first half mile of the six-furlong event. With plenty of horse under him, jockey Jose Ferrer guided his mount to the lead as the field entered the stretch, and You Look Cold responded well to pull away at the wire to win by three and one-quarter lengths.

Bred by Blackstone Farm in Pennsylvania, You Look Cold is a graduate of the Ocala Breeders' Sale Company's 2021 April Sale. Her dam, the Lookin At Lucky mare Lucky Draw, is a half to Stakes winner Killer Bird.

In addition to You Look Cold, Frosted is also sire of Travel Column, winner of the G2 Fair Grounds Oaks, Cave Hill, winner of the Rushaway Stakes and other 2021 Stakes winner Inject. He currently sits second on the leading second crop sire list by earnings.

His runners in Australia include recent G3 winner Ingratiating who was among the top juveniles "down under" last year with a Listed win and G1 placings in the Blue Diamond Stakes and Golden Slipper.
