Rockport Harbor colt sets sail in Chicago

Royale Harbor is sire’s ninth winner in first crop

Quickest out of the gate in the eighth race at Hawthorne on October 13, Royale Harbor, by Rockport Harbor, maintained the lead throughout the six-furlong event to become the ninth winner from his sire’s first crop of two-year-olds racing in 2010.

Bred by Pollack Farm in Kentucky, Royale Harbor is out of the stakes-placed Groovy mare Michele Royale, she a half-sister to the G2 winner Royale Michele by Darley stallion Elusive Quality. Michele Royale also has a 2010 weanling colt by Elusive Quality as well.

Rockport Harbor’s eight other winners include Swynford Stakes winner Bear’s Future and stakes-placed Minutesandtouches.
