Mr Big lives up to his name at Kranji

Singapore's Juvenile Champion wins Kranji Sprint

Elusive Quality's Mr Big, a Champion Juvenile in Singapore last year, earned his first Stakes victory as a three-year-old in the Kranji Sprint April 7.

The win was described as "probably his easiest so far," winning by nearly two lengths in the second leg of the Singapore Sprint Series. It was the third Stakes victory for the gelding.

The gelding was bred by Shadwell Estate Australasia, Ltd. He is out of the unraced Danehill mare Basamaat, who is a daughter of G3 winner Shining Hour.

Elusive Quality has certainly defined himself as a brilliant sire. He is the sire of exceptional, record-breaking talent. His best runners include G1 Breeders' Cup Classic winner Raven's Pass, G1 Kentucky Derby winner Smarty Jones, and brilliant Australian Champion Sepoy. Elusive Quality stands for $50,000 at Darley USA.
