Mr Big lives up to his name

Undefeated son of Elusive Quality nails another Stakes victory

Elusive Quality two-year-old Mr Big proved to be one of the best juveniles in Singapore with a victory in the Listed six furlong Juvenile Championship at Kranji July 31. Perfect in all three starts, Mr Big was entering off a win in the Golden Horseshoe Stakes over the same track. Mr Big broke his maiden in May with a eight and three-quarter length romp in his racing debut.

The gelding was bred by Shadwell Estate Australasia, Ltd. He is out of the unraced Danehill mare Basamaat, who is a daughter of G3 winner Shining Hour.

In 2010 Elusive Quality had more Stakes wins than any other US sire. He is the sire of some of the world's most outstanding racehorses that include G1 winners Raven's Pass, Quality Road, Smarty Jones, and current Australian phenomenon Sepoy. This past month Time Prisoner became the 23rd Graded/Group winner with a score in the G3 Prix de Ris-Orangis at Maisons-Laffitte.
