Mr Big best in Woodlands Handicap

Elusive Quality's Singapore Champion wins again

As Singapore's Champion Juvenile of 2011, Elusive Quality gelding Mr Big delivered once again with a brilliant win in the Woodlands Handicap at Kranji August 19. It was his fourth career Stakes victory.

In the 1200 meter race sprinting specialist Mr Big went to the lead early. With 100 meters to go Mr Big accelerated into gear to hold off foes and ensure a win.

The gelding was bred by Shadwell Estate Australasia, Ltd. He is out of the Danehill mare Basamaat, who is a daughter of G3 winner Shining Hour.

Elusive Quality continues to produce remarkable talent at the track. This year he is headlined by recent G1 Prix Rothschild winner Elusive Kate. His progeny includes the likes of G1 Breeders' Cup Classic winner Raven's Pass, G1 Kentucky Derby victory Smarty Jones, and Australian Champion Sepoy. His up-and-coming juvenile crop looks to be just as exciting with G3 winner Certify, among numerous others.
