Ingratiating all class in Caulfield’s G3 Bletchingly Stakes

Frosted colt a Stakes winner at two, three and four years of age

Ingratiating bounced back from a fourth-place finish in the G3 Sir John Monash Stakes in his previous start to take top honors in the G3 Bletchingly Stakes at Caulfield on Saturday, 22 July.

The Frosted colt has now won Stakes races at ages two, three and four years of age. As a juvenile, Ingratiating also placed in both the G1 Blue Diamond Stakes and G1 Golden Slipper.

Benefitting from a perfectly timed ride from jockey Blake Shinn, Ingratiating came with a powerful rally down the center of the course and reeled in General Beau in the shadow of the wire to win by a half-length.

A homebred for Godolphin, Ingratiating is out of the Lonhro mare, Obsequious, winner of the G2 Light Fingers Stakes and G3 San Domenico Stakes during her racing career.

In addition to Ingratiating, Frosted is also the sire of 2023 Stakes winners Frost Point (G3 Doubledogdare Stakes), Ice Dancing (G3 Santa Ynez), Jasper Krone (G3 CBC Sho in Japan), Flakes, Late Frost and Arctic Arrogance, runner-up in both the G3 Withers and Listed Jerome Stakes.
