G2 winner for Elusive Quality

Second Graded Stakes win in three days as True Quality lands General George Handicap at Laurel Park

True Quality, a winner of five of his ten starts, won the G2 General George Handicap on Monday, turning the tables on Fablulous Strike, to whom he finished second in the the G3 Gravesend handicap on 27 December.

The four-year-old by Elusive Quality runs in the silks of Paraneck Stable and was bred by Seasongs Farms from the Listed-winning Seeking The Gold mare Louve Mysterieuse. He won his previous start in the Paumonok Handicap at Aqueduct by three-and-three-quarter lengths.

True Quality's victory was the second Grade Two win in three days at the Washington track for Elusive Quality following the success of his daughter Royale Michele in the Barbara Fritchie Handicap on Saturday.
