Elusive Quality's Bahnah strikes in G3 Schuylerville Stakes

Juvenile filly shares the win at Saratoga

Emerging as a talented young runner, Elusive Quality's two-year-old daughter Bahnah stayed perfect in the G3 Schuylerville Stakes at Saratoga July 19.

After dominating her debut June 6 at Churchill Downs by six lengths, Bahnah set her sites on opening day at the Spa. In the six-furlong race Bahnah positioned herself just off the pace in a stalking spot. Entering the turn the filly went three-wide to challenge the lead and fought hard in the stretch to share the victory at the line.

Bahnah was bred in Kentucky by Aaron & Marie Jones. She is out of the multiple Graded Stakes-winning mare Flying Glitter, who has also produced Stakes-placed runner Flying Train.

Elusive Quality is the sire of fantastic runners around the world, among them G1 Breeders' Cup Classic winner Raven's Pass, G1 Kentucky Derby winner Smarty Jones, and Australian Champion Sepoy. Just one week ago his daughter Elusive Kate notched an impressive third G1 win in the G1 Falmouth Stakes at Newmarket. Bahnah becomes the 31st Graded or Group winner for Elusive Quality.
