Elusive Quality filly triumphs in G3 Sweet Solera Stakes

Godolphin two-year-old Certify now unbeaten in two starts

Certify impressed many with her facile first-time-out victory in a six-furlong Newmarket maiden last month and the daughter of Elusive Quality built on that fine start with her second victory in her first attempt in Group company.

Stepping up an extra furlong to contest the G3 Sweet Solera Stakes back at Newmarket she was given a confident ride by Godolphin’s Mickael Barzalona who eased her into proceedings following a slowish start then switched her to the outside to take up the running in the final furlong.

Certify, who was bred in the USA by Hurstland Farm Inc et al, is out of the Doc’s Leader mare Please Sign In. She is Elusive Quality's 77th stakes winner and her sire is enjoying yet another fine season, with his European-based runners including the G1 Prix Rothschild heroine Elusive Kate, her G3-winning stable-mate Questioning and French Listed winner Discernable.
