Elusive Quality adds 117th Black type winner

Daughter Momayyaz a winner in Germany

Elusive Quality sired his 117th Black type winner August 23 as Momayyaz proved best in the Listed Grosser Sparkassenpreis at Dusseldorf in Germany. The four-year-old daughter of Elusive Quality charged to victory down the stretch in the 1600-meter turf race.

Momayyaz is out of the winning Pivotal mare Surrealism, a half-sister to G3 winner Diamonixa, who has produced G3 winner and G1 Melbourne Cup-placed Bauer. The filly was bred by Darley Stud Management Co. Ltd.

Elusive Quality is the sire of 14 G1 winners lifetime, a group that includes Kentucky Derby winner Smarty Jones, 2014 leading freshman sire Quality Road, Australian Champion Sepoy, and Breeders' Cup Classic winner Raven's Pass. The sire's top runners in 2015 include G2 Santa Ynez Stakes winner Seduire, and G3 winners Beauty Parlor and Eh Cumpari, among others.
