Cross the Ocean wins on debut in Dubai

Frosted colt is his sire's 13th winner

Frosted's juvenile son Cross the Ocean became the 13th winner for his freshman sire with a debut maiden victory at Jebel Ali in Dubai on November 27th.

Cross the Ocean sat in mid-pack throughout most of the five-furlong dirt contest before running down the leaders in the stretch to win by a nose for trainer Satish Seemar and jockey Richard Mullen.

Bred in Kentucky by Robert and Beverly Lewis Trust LLC, Cross the Ocean is out of G1 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies winner and Eclipse Champion two-year-old filly Folklore.  Folklore is a half-sister to Stakes winner and G3-placed Divided Attention as well as G3-placed Delightful Quality, dam of recent G1 Breeders' Cup Juvenile winner Essential Quality.

Frosted's other winners include TDN Rising Star and G1-placed Travel Column, TDN Rising Star Inject, G3 Nashua runner-up Ten for Ten, Stakes-placed Frost Me, eight-length Belmont winner Likeable, Saratoga winner Restored Order, and Keeneland winner Inspector Frost. Frosted is the only freshman sire with multiple TDN Rising Stars.

He will stand the 2021 breeding season at Jonabell Farm for a fee of $25,000 stands and nurses.
