Caritzia newest Graded Stakes winner for Elusive Quality

Filly goes all the way in G3 Grande Premio Henrique de Toledo Lara

As Elusive Quality's three-year-old daughter Caritzia broke to the early lead in the G3 Grande Premio Henrique de Toledo Lara, it was clear she was a force to be reckoned with. In the one-and-one-eighth-mile turf race the filly traveled well by five lengths to set the early pace. Controlling the tempo throughout, all were chasing her turning for home, and Caritzia came away with a commanding win in the G3 event at Gavea in Brazil.

The three-year-old daughter of Elusive Quality was bred by Haras Santa Maria de Araras and is out of Rubia Del Rio, a G1 winner in Brazil.

Elusive Quality is the sire of a remarkable 116 Stakes winners around the world, among them 13 G1 winners. His top runners lifetime include G1 Kentucky Derby winner Smarty Jones, Australian Champion Sepoy, G1 Breeders' Cup Classic winner Raven's Pass, and G1 winner and 2014 leading freshman sire Quality Road.
