Bustling simply brilliant in G2 Karrakatta Plate

‘The sky’s the limit’ for exciting Frosted juvenile

Bustling notched his second straight Stakes victory - and his biggest win so far - with an impressive, pillar-to-post score in the G2 Karrakatta Plate at Ascot Racecourse in Australia on Saturday, 20 April.

The two-year-old Frosted youngster, who captured the Listed Amelia Park – Perth Stakes in his previous start, now boasts three wins and a second in four starts.

Hustled out of the gate by jockey Blake Shinn, Bustling immediately took command and was never headed on his way to winning by four lengths over Earthstorm.

Bred in Australia by Oakland Park Stud, Bustling is the first Graded Stakes winner out of the mare, Busimiss, a multiple Stakes-placed daughter of Key Business.

Frosted is off to a hot start in 2024, with five Stakes winners to his credit so far. In addition to Bustling, the stallion is represented by Post Time, winner of the G2 Carter Handicap; Frost At Dawn, winner of the G3 Nad Al Sheba Turf Sprint; Security Code, winner of the Broadway Stakes and Icicles, winner of the Likely Exchange Stakes.

Frosted is standing the 2024 breeding season at Jonabell Farm for $10,000, stands and nurses.
