Beaux Choix the latest 2012 Stakes winner for Elusive Quality

One of 11 added-money winners this year for his sire

Although off a step slow in the seven-furlong Rob N Gin Stakes on October 12 at Belmont, Elusive Quality's Beau Choix wasn't rushed by jockey Joel Rosario early on, but when asked at the half-mile mark, the tough five-year-old responded admirably and passed all to win his fourth career Stakes. He also won the 2011 renewal of this same event.

Owned and bred by Belle Meadows Stable and Lael Stable, Beau Choix is out of the G2 Stakes winner Belle Cherie, a half-sister to dual G1 winner Octave. Belle Cherie is also the dam of Stakes winner Last Best Place and Stakes-placed Belle Cherie Mary. She currently has a two-year-old colt by fellow Darley stallion Street Sense.

Elusive Quality is having a fantastic year in 2012 exemplified by 10 other Stakes winners, including Europes top rated two-year-old and three-year-old fillies Certify and Elusive Kate. He is the sire of 85 total Stakes winners that reads like a who's who of racehorses: Kentucky Derby winner Smarty Jones, Breeders' Cup Classic winner Raven's Pass and Australian superstar Sepoy, all champions, to name a few.
