Delaware River proves age is no barrier to success when scoring his fourteenth win at the age of seven

Quiet American seven-year-old Delaware River has now notched 51 career starts, his most recent being a win in the $74,250 Listed Willy Wank Handicap at Presque Isle Downs over nine furlongs.

His many racecourse appearances have included 14 wins, with three at Stakes level, and 15 placed efforts, which have earned him in excess of $425,000.

Bred by Land Of Believe Inc, Delaware River is out of the Theatrical mare Alphe, and races for Donald Campbell.

Quiet American is also sire of 2008 Stakes winners Jade’s Revenge, Naughty New Yorker, La Dolce Vita, Seattle Smooth and Shopton Lane.
