Consolidator is currently lying in joint-third position in the North American first-season sirers’ list after Mr Consolidator became his sixteenth winner with a maiden success at Hoosier Park on Saturday.
Bred by Swifty Farms Inc, the colt is out of the Dynaformer mare To Dy Fore. He joins Stakes winner Queen Imidala and the G3-placed Absolute Music on the list of first-crop winners by the young son of Storm Cat.
Consolidator’s fellow freshman Offlee Wild has sired 13 winners to date this season, including Grade Three winner She Be Wild, a likely starter in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies on 7 November.
