What a performance!

G1 next on the agenda as E Dubai filly What A Pear romps to ten-length Stakes win

Three-year-old What A Pear is now four wins from four runs after an emphatic victory in the Busher Stakes at Aqueduct on Sunday.

The E Dubai filly took command heading into the stretch and galloped further and further clear of her rivals to be ten lengths ahead at the post. Her delighted trainer Joe Parker told the TDN: ‘I’m ecstatic. When a horse performs like that, what do you need to say? A horse like that comes along only once in a while.’

Bred by Dr Russell S Cohen, What A Pear is a daughter of Perfect Pear (Pine Bluff). She started her winning streak on 6 December with a six-furlong maiden victory at Aqueduct, following this up with an allowance win over a mile before landing the Wistful Stakes on 1 February.

What A Pear is now being aimed at the G1 Ashland Stakes run at Keeneland on 4 April.

E Dubai, who is also sire of recent G3 Daytona Handicap winner Desert Code and the unbeaten colt Mr Fantasy, stands at Darley America for $15,000 (Stands and Nurses terms).
