Twelve winners for Consolidator

Queen Imidala storms to eight-and-a-quarter length victory to become the latest winner for her freshman sire

Darley freshman sire Consolidator recorded his twelfth individual winner in fine style on September 23, when his daughter Queen Imidala led from gate to wire to win by over eight lengths at Turfway Park.

Bred by Catherine E. Sheppell & William R. Sheppell, Queen Imidala is out of the winning mare Fit N’ Pretty who is also dam of Stakes winner March Dancer.

Consolidator is also sire of two Black type performers in Absolute Music and Dubai Miracle.

Also on Wednesday, Medaglia d'Oro sired a new Black type performer when Devil By Design finished second in the Cat Chat Stakes at Belmont Park.
