Ticker Tape Home celebrates a sharp victory in Woodbine’s Fury Stakes

Daughter of Medaglia d’Oro goes gate-to-wire to earn her first Stakes win

Ticker Tape Home broke on top and never looked back on her way to cruising to a four-length victory in the $125,000 Fury Stakes at Woodbine on Saturday, 10 June.

It was the first Stakes victory for the three-year-old daughter of Medaglia d’Oro, who had been Stakes-placed over this same course and distance as a juvenile in the Listed Display Stakes. Completing the exacta was Elysian Field, by fellow Darley stallion, Hard Spun.

Ticker Tape Home was bred in Ontario by Sam-Son Farm and is out of Journey Home (War Front), winner of the G3 Jimmy Durante Stakes and placed in both the G2 Mrs. Revere Stakes and G3 Pin Oak Valley View Stakes.  Journey Home's dam, Soul Search (A.P. Indy), was placed in both the G1 Juddmonte Spinster and G1 Personal Ensign Stakes during her racing career.

Medaglia d’Oro has now sired 172 Stakes winners including 91 that have struck at Group or Graded level. They include Hong Kong’s two-time Horse of the Year, Golden Sixty; Australian G3 winner, Kallos, and the Stakes-winning pair of Merlazza and Botanical.
