Street Cry strikes early on day one of the Inglis Broodmare Sale

Sharp Susan, carrying a positive test to Street Cry sells for $1,050,000 million in Australia

After an extremely positive Easter yearling sale the week prior where he had the top priced selling colt that made AUS$1.2million, Street Cry has once again produced an impressive result, this time with the Tyreel Stud-consigned Sharp Susan.

Entering the ring as lot 28, the G3-winning Touch Gold mare, a half sister to G1 winners Spring At Last and Sharp Lisa, was purchased by Badger’s Bloodstock for AUS$1,050,000 carrying a positive test to Street Cry.

The sire of 13 international G1 winners including the Champion mare Zenyatta and the unbeaten G1 filly Lyric Of Light, Street Cry ended the recent Easter yearling sales as the third leading sire on averages, an impressive performance with his first crop of yearlings since returning after a few years of not shuttling to Australia.

Street Cry will be represented by a further two mares during the remainder of the sales which carry a positive test to him.
