Street Boss juvenile filly reins supreme at Saratoga

November Rein goes gate-to-wire in the Seeking the Ante Stakes
November Rein takes the Seeking the Ante Stakes

Street Boss's two-year-old daughter November Rein earned her second straight win at Saratoga with a gate-to-wire to victory in the Seeking the Ante Stakes on August 27.

November Rein stumbled at the break but quickly recovered and went to the front in the six-and-a-half furlong contest. She never looked back, comfortably holding off Velvet Sister (Bernardini) in the stretch to win by almost two lengths for Mr. Amore Stable, trainer Kelly Breen and jockey Jose Ortiz.  It was her second consecutive win at the Spa following a five-length maiden special win going five-and-a-half furlongs on July 16.

Bred in New York by Ron Lombardi, November Rein is a daughter of three-time Stakes winner Ju Ju Eyeballs (Gators N Bears), earner of over $250,000.

November Rein is one of 10 northern hemisphere two-year-old winners this year for Street Boss, whose 2021 Stakes winners include Lady War Machine (Alywow Stakes); New Boss (Pea Patch Overnight Stakes, Allen ‘Black Cat’ Lecombe Memorial Stakes); Top Executive (Irish Day Stakes, Auburn Stakes); Who Took the Money (Crescent City Derby), Lady Edith (Mamzelle Stakes) and Bienville Street (Sunshine Filly & Mare Turf Stakes). In Australia, Street Boss is the sire of 2021 Stakes winners Anamoe (G1 Sires’ Produce Stakes); Arcaded (G2 Blue Diamond Fillies Prelude, G3 Magic Night); Heresy (G3 David Coles); and Street Life (Railway Stakes).
