Star Guitar lands the Dixie Poker Ace Stakes

Quiet American colt wins his third Stakes race at Fair Grounds

Quiet American colt Star Guitar landed his fifth race in six attempts and took his Stakes winning tally to three, when landing the Dixie Poker Ace Stakes over one-mile at Fair Grounds on Saturday. His one-length victory in this off-the-turf event took his career earnings to over $200,000. His trainer, Al Stall Jr commented that he will now likely head to Delta Downs on Feburary 7th, for the $200,000 Louisiana Premier Night Championship.

Bred by Brittlyn Stable, M Benoit and E Benoit, he is out of the Stakes winning mare Minit Towinit and a half-brother to two Stakes winners in Grand Minit and Favorite Minit.

Quiet American, sire of Kentucky Derby winner Real Quiet and broodmare sire of five G1 winners including Bernardini, stands for $15,000 Stands & Nurses.
