Son of Street Boss wins for fun in Canada

Bosco is fourth winner from his sire's first crop

Of course hindsight is 20/20 but from the start of yesterday’s fourth race at Canada’s Northlands Park it was clear that Bosco, a son of Street Boss, was in it to win it. The two-year-old bounded from the gate quickly, was up by two and a half at the quarter pole, by six as they entered the stretch, and then seven at the wire. This is the fourth winner from his sire’s first crop.

Bosco is the fifth winner from the first five foals out of his dam, Fly Borboleta, a G2-placed daughter of Pulpit. Fly Borboleta was a previous $700,000 sale two-year-old at Fasig-Tipton, and has a 2012 yearling who is also by Street Boss.

Street Boss, a multiple G1 winner and record setter, is quickly showing that he has the ability to pass along his great attributes to his offspring. His four winners lead all other freshman sires for 2012 and include two debutants in Europe.
