Seventh heaven

Tremendamente Loca leads all the way to become Offlee Wild’s latest winner

Freshman sire Offlee Wild recorded his seventh individual winner on August 12 when his daughter Tremendamente Loca took the five-and-a-half furlong Maiden Special Weight at Presque Isle Downs.

Setting the pace right from the off, the Timothy Hamm-trained filly drew away from her rivals in mid stretch and ran on well to win by two-and-a-quarter lengths.

Bred by J D Squires, Tremendamente Loca is out of the Numerous mare Montaraz, a half-sister to Kentucky Derby winner Monarchos.

Offlee Wild, who is currently second in the freshman sires’ list, is also sire of Stakes winners Heavenville and She Be Wild and a further two Stakes horses in Dant and Tomball.
