Second G1 victory for Street Boss

Street Cry colt sweeps from last to first to land Bing Crosby Handicap at Del Mar

Street Cry's outstanding son Street Boss cemented his position as a leading contender for the Breeders' Cup Sprint when recording his fifth consecutive win and second straight victory at G1 level on July 27, taking the Bing Crosby Handicap at Del Mar.

Settled at the back of the field under David Flores, the four-year-old colt came with his trademark blistering late run, flying round the outside to sweep past his rivals and win the six-furlong contest by a length in a new track record time of 1:08.67.

The Bruce Headley-trained colt has now notched up six wins and a second from seven starts this year and his win in the Bing Crosby takes his earnings past the half-million dollar mark.
