Dean Roethemeier, who gained extensive knowledge of Darley's stallions as a member of the marketing team at Dalham Hall in Newmarket, England, has joined the nominations staff at the farm’s Jonabell division in Lexington, Kentucky. Prior to his three-year tenure in England, he completed the two-year course of the Darley Flying Start program.

Roethemeier, a native Kentuckian from Henderson, earned a degree in Equine Administration from the University of Louisville in 2004.  After graduating, he was employed by Churchill Downs, Inc. as Marketing Coordinator and was then accepted into the Darley Flying Start program from which he graduated in 2008.

Roethemeier said, "I'm extremely excited to be joining our Nominations team at Darley in America.  Our stallion roster at Jonabell is world-class and I look forward to meeting many of our clients at the January Sale at Keeneland and working closely with them to help them plan their matings to ultimately achieve the kind of successes we all hope for."
