Pleasuring leads home Darley clean sweep in G3 Fillies Classic

Three-time Stakes winner too strong for Earth Angel and Teodora

Consistent filly Pleasuring has given her sire Hard Spun another Australian Stakes success, leading home a trio of Darley-sired fillies in the G3 South Australian Fillies’ Classic at Morphettville.

Already the winner this season of the Listed Tasmanian Oaks and another Listed race in Tasmania, Pleasuring received a perfect ride from Damien Lane, asserting herself in the final 100m of the 2,500m race.

Chasing her home was the regally-bred Earth Angel, a daughter of Animal Kingdom and the champion Australian mare Miss Finland, with Teodora, a daughter of Teofilo, in third place.

Pleasuring, one of Hard Spun’s 62 Stakes winners, is the best of the progeny of the Seattle Dancer mare Sleeplessinseattle who has produced seven winners from her eight foals to race.
