One Sweet Dream becomes Girolamo's 15th winner

Two-year-old filly goes gate-to-wire at Finger Lakes

Girolamo's two-year-old daughter One Sweet Dream broke her maiden in gate-to-wire fashion at Finger Lakes on November 6th to become the 15th winner for her freshman sire.

Sent off as the odds-on favorite, One Sweet Dream broke alertly and went to the lead in the in the six furlong contest.  She began to separate herself from the pack around the turn and pulled away through the stretch to win easily by three lengths.

Bred in New York by Sequel Thoroughbreds and Hidden Lake Farm, One Sweet Dream is out of the stakes-winning Matchlite mare Clever Idea.

Currently fourth on the first-crop sire list by earnings, Girolamo's other winners include Stakes winner and G1-placed TDN Rising Star She’s All Ready, Belmont debut winner and Stakes-placed Lucky Lurie, Saratoga debut winner and Stakes-placed Pagan, and six length Belmont maiden winner Libreta.
