New Stakes winner for Quiet American

Free Flying Soul records an impressive victory in the Louis R Rowan Stakes

Darley stallion Quiet American notched his fifth Stakes winner of the year and the 47th of his career on October 12 when his four-year-old daughter Free Flying Soul landed the Louis R Rowan Stakes at Santa Anita.

Quickly into stride, Free Flying Soul was settled in second position before making her move approaching the turn. Leading coming into the stretch, she accelerated impressively and won the six-and-a-half-furlong contest going away by two lengths.

Bred by James Temple Hines Jr, she is out of the multiple Graded Stakes winner Ruby Surprise (Farma Way) and is from the family of G1 Dubai Golden Shaheen winner Saratoga County.
