New Graded Stakes winner for E Dubai

Dubious Miss leads from gate to wire to take the G3 Ben Ali Stakes at Keeneland

The interestingly-named Dubious Miss, a son of Darley stallion E Dubai, maintained his perfect record on the Keeneland polytrack on April 18 when running out the impressive winner of the G3 Ben Ali Stakes.

Breaking smartly from the gate, the Paul McGee-trained gelding took up the running and was never seriously challenged, crossing the wire a length and a half ahead of Kiss The Kid.

This was his third straight win at Keeneland and he has now won eight times and placed on a further five occasions in 19 starts with earnings approaching the half-million mark.

Bred by David P Holloway, Dubious Miss is out of the Stakes-placed Mountain Cat mare Cryptoclover.

E Dubai, who stands at Darley America at a fee of $10,000 Stands and Nurses, is also sire this year of hugely impressive Meydan winner and G2 Godolphin Mile third Skysurfers; plus fellow Stakes placers Sea Ruler and What A Pear.
