Holy Bull sires his 35th Stakes winner

Tutta Bella completes her hat-trick in Fran's Valentine Stakes

Tutta Bella completed her hat-trick on Sunday in fine style when victorious in the Fran’s Valentine Stakes at Hollywood Park.

Sent off the second favorite, she went to the lead early and battled on gamely under a hand ride from Garrett Gomez to defeat Comedy Girl. This was her fourth win on turf from seven starts and has only finished out of the money once.

Bred by Pam Ziebarth, she is out of the Red Ransom Stakes-performing mare Griselda, and is from the family of Champion Two-Year-Old Chief’s Crown.

Tutta Bella becomes Holy Bull's 35th individual Stakes winner; with his other notable performers including Kentucky Derby hero Giacomo and Eclipse Champion Juvenile Macho Uno – who has already sired a G1 winner himself.
