Hit It Once More wins once more

Son of Hard Spun wins fourth career Blacktype event in New York

In his first Stakes win of the year, the Haynesfield Stakes back in February, Hard Spun’s Hit It Once More was sent off as the longshot in the field but wired the field for an easy win.

In the Listed Genesee Valley Breeders’ Stakes at Finger Lakes on August 20th, he again wired the field for his fourth career Stakes win. Sent off this time as the favorite this time in a field of six, he again didn’t disappoint his supporters.

Bred in New York by JMJ Racing Stables LLC, Hit It Once More is out of Sunday Geisha (by Sunday Break), winner of the Trenton Stakes and placed in the Listed My Juliet Stakes. Sunday Geisha is a half to Stakes-placed Against The Law, dam of multiple Stakes winner Lazy Daisy May.

Hard Spun’s 63 other career Stakes winners include 31 which have won in Group company, nine of those G1 winners. In fact, no stallion standing for less than $60,000 can match his seven G1 winners since 2012.
