Daughter of Consolidator romps to six-and-a-quarter length victory to become the fourth winner for her freshman sire; Street Magician adds further Black type to his CV

Freshman sire Consolidator recorded his fourth individual winner in impressive style on June 7, when Exploding Crystals took the five-furlong Maiden Special Weight at Lone Star Park by six-and-a-quarter lengths.

Bred by Sun Valley Farm, she is out of the Gone West mare Explosive Miss and is from the family of G1 winner A Phenomenon.

Also on Sunday Street Magician, from the first crop of Street Cry, added a third Stakes win to his race record when running out the impressive winner of the Karl Boyes Memorial Northwestern Pa S at Presque Isle Downs.

Breaking well, Street Magician was soon in the lead and eased clear in the stretch to land the five-and-a-half furlong contest by two-and-three quarter lengths.

Owned and bred by R Larry Johnson, Street Magician won the G3 Hirsch Jacobs Stakes and the Listed Aventura Stakes at three and is now unbeaten in two starts at five.
