Essential Quality’s Viva Vienne wins at first asking at Presque Isle!

Yet another winner for her freshman sire!

Bet down as the 3/2 favorite for her debut, Essential Quality's two-year-old daughter, Viva Vienne, didn't disappoint her supporters as she became the latest winner for her freshman sire, winning  on September 8 at Presque Isle Downs.

Breaking near the back of the pack, she made a swift move just before the half-mile marker and quickly joined the leader as the field rounded the turn for home. Putting that one away, she had to withstand a strong challenge in deep stretch but kept that one at bay for the win.

Viva Vienne was bred in Kentucky by Fred W. Hertrich III and John D. Fielding. She is out of Hard Spun's G3-winning daughter Nomorerichblondes, she a half to Listed winner Sharp Kitty.

Dual Champion Essential Quality is also the sire of the undefeated filly, Chopsticks, winner of the Ellis Park Debutante in her second start, and Aye Eye, who rocketed from last-to-first to win his career debut at Saratoga last month.
