Eight-length winner makes winner number eight for Henny Hughes

This Time leads gate to wire for first career win

The trip south of the border to Indiana from Canada paid dividends for the connections of the 2-year-old filly This Time as the daughter of Henny Hughes broke her maiden impressively by eight lengths at Hoosier Park.

After blistering through the first quarter in twenty one and four fifth seconds, This Time was able to settle down for jockey Jamie Theriot and pull away in the stretch for the easy victory.

Out of the multiple black type winner and $450,000+ earner Switch Lanes, This Time was bred by William D. Graham in Canada and is owned by Maggi Moss.

Henny Hughes, whose first foals are 2-year-olds of 2010, remains the only 3-year-old to ever with both the G1 King’s Bishop and G1 Vosburgh in the same year.
