Consolidator sires his second winner

Dp the Facilitator becomes the latest winner for his freshman sire with a three-and-a-quarter length victory at River Downs

Freshman sire Consolidator sired his second individual winner on May 19, when Dp the Facilitator took the four-and-a-half furlong maiden at River Downs.

Breaking well, the Wesley Ward-trained colt set the pace throughout and drew clear of his rivals close to home to win by three and a quarter lengths.

Bred by Liberation Farm and Brandywine Farm, Dp the Facilitator is out of the Crafty Prospector mare Hitched to a Star and is from the family of Champion filly and Breeders’ Cup winner Sacahuista.

Consolidator, who won the G1 Breeders’ Futurity at two before going on to land the G2 San Felipe in record time at three, stands at Darley America at a fee of $15,000 Stands and Nurses.
