Bully for him!

New Stakes winner for Holy Bull; E Dubai colt is third in G3 Stars and Stripes Turf Handicap

Darley stallion Holy Bull (pictured) recorded his 39th individual Stakes winner on September 7 when his son Bully For You landed the Ruidoso Thoroughbred Championship Handicap.

Settled behind the early leaders, Bully For You made his move coming into the stretch and kicked clear of his rivals close to home to win the one-and-one-sixteenth mile contest by a length and three quarters.

Bred by Cynthia Knight, he is out of the Theatrical mare Olive The Twist who is herself a full sister to dual European Group winner Asema. They are from the family of dual G1 winner Sabin.

Also on Monday, Caberneigh – a four-year-old son of E Dubai – added further black type to his resume when finishing third in the G3 Stars and Stripes Turf Handicap, run over one and a half miles at Arlington Park.
