A Bull charges to victory at Belmont

Holy Bull’s R Betty Graybull wins Anniron Stakes

Breaking last in the field of nine, R Betty Graybull, by Holy Bull, advanced steadily throughout the seven-furlong Anniron Stakes on September 29 to record her second career added-money event.  Although sent off at odds of 10-1, the gray four-year-old drew off in the final stages for a widening one and one-quarter length victory.

Bred by Pegasus Farms, Inc., in New York, R Betty Graybull is out of the unraced Evansville Slew mare Hey Darla, she a half-sister to Listed winner Sweet Diva.

Holy Bull is the sire of 41 other stakes winners and a total of 90 lifetime stakes horses, including champion and Breeders’ Cup Juvenile winner Macho Uno and Kentucky Derby winner Giacomo.
