Animal Kingdom's first winner is a TDN Rising Star

Earth Angel wins impressively on debut in Australia

Two-year-old filly Earth Angel (Animal Kingdom) became her sire's first winner in Australia on March 8th, scoring on debut at Ballarat in a "TDN Rising Star" performance.

Making her first career start, Earth Angel was in the middle of the pack throughout most of the the six-furlong maiden race before unleashing a spectacular turn of foot through the stretch to win by a half-length, earning the "TDN Rising Star" distinction.

Bred in Australia by Arrowfield Pastoral Pty Ltd & Planette Thoroughbred, Earth Angel is out of dual Champion and five-time G1 winner Miss Finland (Redoute's Choice).  Miss Finland is also the dam of G1 winner Stay With Me (Street Cry).

Animal Kingdom's first northern hemisphere crop are two-year-olds of 2017.  His first two-year-old through the sales ring brought $300,000 at last week's Fasig-Tipton Gulfstream Sale.

Animal Kingdom is standing the 2017 season at Jonabell Farm for $30,000, stands and nurses.
