18th Graded/Group winner for Medaglia d'Oro

The superb Medaglia d'Oro sired his 18th Graded/Group winner December 15 as the four-year-old filly A Shin Memphis proved the one to beat in the G3 Aichi Hai at Chukyo. The one and one-quarter mile race was the first Stakes victory for the filly.

A Shin Memphis is out of the Pine Bluff mare Tennessee Girl, a winner of more than $1.6 million including the G3 Centaur Stakes at Hanshin.

Medaglia d'Oro is the leading commercial sire of the day, by both number of sales and session toppers. In addition to A Shin Memphis he has been represented in 2012 by talented turf filly Marketing Mix, a winner of the G1 Rodeo Drive Stakes, as well as G2 winner Violence and G3 winner Den's Legacy. He is also the sire of renowned Horse Of The Year Rachel Alexandra, as well as G1 Kentucky Oaks winner Plum Pretty.
