Falling Leaves flies to victory in the Angie C. Stakes at Emerald Downs

Two-year-old Frosted filly remains perfect in two starts

Falling Leaves shot like a rocket out of the starting gate and never looked back on her way to posting an impressive five-and-a-quarter-length victory over Code of Valor in the Angie C. Stakes at Emerald Downs on July 20.

The two-year-old daughter of Frosted, who was making her Stakes debut, remains perfect in two starts. She broke her maiden in similar fashion June 22, leading all the way to win by four-and-three-quarter lengths.

Bred in Kentucky by BHMFR, LLC, Falling Leaves is out of Season Maker, by Pioneerof the Nile. Falling Leaves’ second dam is Stakes winner and multiple Graded Stakes-placed Season’s Greetings, making Season Maker a half sister to multiple Graded Stakes winner, Grace Hall (G1 Spinaway, G2 Delaware Oaks, G2 Gulfstream Oaks, etc.).

Sire of 35 Stakes winners, Frosted is represented by 2025 G3 Gotham Stakes winner Flood Zone; Post Time, winner of the Deputed Testimony Stakes; White Rocks, winner of the Cincinnati Trophy Stakes at Turfway Park, and Frost At Dawn who took the Listed Cecil Frail Stakes at Haydock.
