Saratoga Dreamer on such a winter’s day

Saratoga Dreamer won the six furlong Rego Park Stakes at Aqueduct on January 30th to become the 110th black-type winner for his sire Elusive Quality. 

A first time out winner at Saratoga in August, the three-year-old colt sat in third down the backstretch, made a three wide move around the turn, and prevailed in late stretch to win by a neck for trainer Christophe Clement.

Bred in New York by Aynsford Holdings, LLC, Saratoga Dreamer is out of the stakes-placed Irish River mare St. Francis Wood.

Elusive Quality's 13 G1 winners include Kentucky Derby winner Smarty Jones, Australian Champion Sepoy, Breeders' Cup Classic winner Raven's Pass, multiple G1 winner Elusive Kate, and 2014 top freshman sire Quality Road.
