Social Paranoia fearless in winning G3 Appleton Stakes

Son of Street Boss rallies from off the pace to notch his first Graded Stakes win

Social Paranoia charged from last to first in the final sixteenth of a mile to win the G3 Appleton Stakes by just over a length at Gulfstream Park March 28.

It was the first Graded Stakes win for the four-year-old son of Street Boss, who was making his first start of the year. Social Paranoia had a successful sophomore campaign, winning the Listed Dueling Grounds Derby in addition to hitting the board in Graded Stakes such as the G1 Belmont Derby, G2 American Turf and G3 Pennine Ridge.

Social Paranoia was bred in Kentucky by Mineola Farm II, LLC and Silent Grove Farm, LLC. He is out of the Deputy Minister mare Shutterbug and is a full brother to Stakes winner Dekabrist.

In addition to Social Paranoia, Street Boss is the sire of 2020 Stakes winners Gold Street (Listed Smarty Jones Stakes, Sugar Bowl Stakes) and Hanseatic (G3 Blue Diamond Prelude, Listed Blue Diamond Preview, in Australia).

Street Boss is standing the 2020 season at Jonabell Farm in Kentucky, for $20,000 stands and nurses.
