Maxfield's son Rock It Rob was certainly aptly-named for his debut as he dueled with the field's top choice and then put that one away to win easily by two and one-quarter lengths at Saratoga on July 18th. That debut win gives Maxfield a total of four winners from his first crop.

Bred in New York by Joe Fafone, Rock It Rob was purchased by C J Stables at the Saratoga Preferred Sale in 2024. His dam is out of a half to G1W Man From Wicklow and G2W Wild Heart Dancing (granddam of three-time G1W Casa Creed and G3W Chess's Dream).
One of North America's top five freshman sires in 2025, Maxfield is the sire of three other winners thus far all in maiden special weight events: Lilies N Paradise (Churchill Downs), Max Capacity (Colonial Downs) and Pietra Preciosa (Horseshoe Indianapolis).
