Before You Know It wires Karakorum Elektra Stakes

Sent off as the 3/5 favorite, Hard Spun's Before You Know It proved she was worthy of it in the Karakorum Elektra Stakes at Aqueduct.

In the one-and-one-sixteenth-mile race Before You Know It vied for the early lead and took advantage quickly. Leading the way throughout, the five-year-old mare couldn't be caught in the stretch and easily sealed the win.

Bred by Hertrich/McCarthy Livestock LLC, Fred W. Hertrich III & John D. Fielding, Before You Know it is out of the Seeking The Gold mare Without Delay. Out of Stakes winner Slow Down, Without Delay is a half-sister to G3 winner Slow Pace.
